Weekend 2nd & 3rd November 2024. Exactly one year since stepping into a kart, Nelson drives superbly to earn himself a hard-fought podium at the prestigious London Cup @ Rye House Kart Raceway.

Nelson had never even been to the track where Sir Lewis Hamilton famously learnt his trade. But Nelson quickly matched the pace of his massively more experienced competitors, including regulars from the British Karting Championship.

Nelson drove brilliantly in the Final race to keep the leaders in sight and secure a 3rd place finish. As if this wasn’t enough, he also picked up ‘Driver of the day’. Which was nice !

Also, huge thanks to RPM Racing Engines, Eks karts and, not least, the Savvy Racing team for guiding Nelson to such an excellent result.
